Hi all,

I was truly hoping not to start a new post, but my car has forced me to.

In the past 3 weeks I have:

1/ got the car diagnosed 4 times (50 quid a go)
2/ replaced the turbo (don't want to know)
3/ replaced egr valve (don't want to know)
4/ full complete genuine honda parts service
5/ been a happy lover of the honda accord for the past 3 days

Car has lost all bottom end boost, white smoke out the back past 2,000rpm
Code is P1237 Manufacturer Control

I'm tired of these ongoing problems, and so is my wallet.

i attempted to hunt down a leak from one of the turbo pipes, but i cannot be certain of my actions.

everything seems fine when the engine cover is off.

please, please help me.

Dan

Sorry you're still having problems dude.

Got a couple of ideas fella. As you know white smoke out the exhaust means unburnt fuel.

So the top 3 contenders in no particular order are

Faulty or damaged injectors

Incorrect injection timing (could be a worn timing gear or damaged crankshaft keyway).

Low cylinder compression (eg caused by leaking or broken valves, piston ring sticking, cylinder and/or ring wear, or cylinder glaze)

This is just general diesel info and not particular to the Accord.

You've spent £50 x 4 on diagnostics?

get in touch, let me take a look please.
