Noisey rattle/rubbing and oil light coming on.

Hi,

First time logging back on in a while. Car has been sitting there while the Ebay advert has been running so haven't done anything. Still haven't got a manual.

So no change in situation at present.

While re-***embling mine a few weeks ago, I noticed that there is a removeable plug in the sump, through which it looks possible to view the oil pump chain tensioner piston and arm, but probably not the chain. It needs an Allen key to remove it - see final photo, post #23, in my timing chain replacement thread... http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/16473-replacement-of-engine-chains/

Using my above thread in conjunction with the Civic manual I linked to earlier in this thread should mean you won't need to find an Accord manual.
