I have bought 200, 2.2 diesel accord couple of days ago. I have noticed that there is oil in the coolant. Do you think it could be blown head gasket?
There is no signs of coolant in engine oil.
Thanks

A blown head gasket would be the most common cause unfortunately.

I would agree, are there any other signs? Smoking, excessive coolant loss, overheating?

REMOVE the filler cap, start engine and watch for a stream of bubbles travelling across the coolant, a good indicator of blown head gasket, but it could be gearbox oil cooler? intercooler?

If you are in a cold region then improper coolant types can interfere with core plugs, but its a long stretch to get back into the expansion tank

(It did happen with a friend with an Audi though, it took three visits to the dealer to find out)
