Hi Guys I know its been talked about many times before but reading through loads of posts still can't find the right answer I have the 2.2 with the DPF
I want to do an oil change as had a bad experience at honda the last service it had so going to do it myself but what is the right oil been looking at Exol
my local supplier says 0w/30 if I go on Exol oil checker it says 5w/30 I know a lot of people say 0w/30 please can somebody shed some light. Please.

You need a 0w30 low saps oil if the DPF is still in the car.

Hi yes told them i was a member and they gave me a discount code put it in on website gave me £5.00 discount
but with postage over £50 for 25 ltr on ebay £89.80 with free postage 25 ltr :)

ok yes that is the the stuff what I am trying to saying is if you buy from ebay it is cheaper than buying from lube tech website even with forum discount.
As on ebay it free postage the oil is the same price on ebay as with lube tech website but because of free post it works out cheaper.to buy of ebay.

Having "a word" with lubetech before I get more thank you for clearing that up. Please rewrite your #5 it is still confusing where does the £50 come into it??

Hi John,
Sorry for the misunderstanding this is a break down oil = 86.60
shipping = 8.75
discount = -5.00
sub total = 86.60
total = 90.35
Ebay £89.80 Free post a saving of 0.55 so as I said cheaper on ebay I know not a lot but I have not been long out of hospital after a brain aneurysm so not working at the moment so every penny helps
the memory is not quite there yet so I think in #5 I put £50 not £90 anyway looks like forum discount is not helping.

Yes I make you right, I think I will have a word.

But to keep it in perspective, whether it's £85 or £90, compared to big brand prices you're still saving a fortune.

Agreed but the sales push "we will supply cheaper to you" if you are a Honda forumite is just not true, I have spoken to them on the phone and have been told there is a new code for the low saps, and promised that they will phone me back with it, as yet no reply, maybe one of the "mods" can clarify??

Fair enough, worth following up, that 55p is better in your pocket than theirs.
Better than that, phoned direct and was offered it at £82 delivered, Maybe the deal has not been updated, I was told they are having probs with the computer/web site. Be a shame to lose them as the product is 2nd to none.
