Ok, when the engine is revved up to say 4-5k (in neutral) when I release the accelerator and the revs come down to about 3.5k theres a vibration from the engine area. When done again the vibration gets less...Please tell me its not my flywheel???

Thanks in advance :)

Cracked manifold could cause this if its cracked badly enough..

It could be any of these things said.Your best bet is get someone to rev the car like you said and get your head under to pin point the noise.

As stated, get under the bonnet, have someone rev for you, get a loooong screw driver, put the handle in your earhole, and prod the various parts of the engine, would place a bet on it being the plastic engine shield.

Redlining in neutral? Surely that was the cause something broke, no...?

Yep, not good at all for your engine!
