Accord 07 2.2 ICTDI
Hey guys,

I have 07 plate 2.2 icdti accord sport with almost 200k miles. I use car for deliveries do I do over 30k miles a year. Car is in a good shape, I do regular service and love the car. I recently got a new clutch and flywheel aswell.

I was wondering and thinking about remap to have a bit more power and fun. My question is whether you think it is a good idea for such mileage.

Will it decrease longetivity of the car ?
What are the risks, pros and cons and what do u think about this idea?

Thank you guys for any ideas and inputs.
Ps. I include pic of my darling.

I’ve tuned them on this sort of mileage, they’re absolutely fine. It just needs to be a solid base to work on.

Long time since your post but since I have a similar mileage diesel Accord, I was wondering if in fact you did go for the remap and how did you get on?

Had mine done @ 170k and glad I did.
Still feels sprightly and doing @ 47mpg on average.
Feels quicker than my bmw 530d.

Most that come in now are on that sort of mileage. My original response stands, if it’s a healthy engine and a solid base to start from we’ll get a good result.
