Power Steering Mod/Delete?

I bought a donor car that's pre facelift and it seems to have a power steering mod/relocation. Where the power steering pump and reservoir should be there's nothing there. But the car definitely still has power steering. I think it might have been relocated, or changed entirely but I can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know of any mods that it might be?

My main Accord still has the power steering leak unless I wait a minute after startup. The donor car does not have any such problems. So if I could figure out what was done to it I'd just swap it over.

I think your donor car may have electronic power steering

EPS - Electric Power Steering

Most Jap Hondas seem to have EPS, they love autos and EPS in Japan it seems. The older Honda's with EPS had adjustable steering feel on a rocker switch which is kind of cool :)

Hmm interesting. It's an 04 SE. After looking at the other post it may indeed have EPS:

I haven't really driven around the donor car since it's got an engine misfire, so can't comment on the feel of it. But from other peoples experiences the EPS seems worse than the Hydraulic Power Steering.

Granted at least the EPS doesn't leak...

Now it's time to figure out how hard it is to convert.
