Hi all,

I recently started smelling fumes in the cabin and suspected it was the infamous EGR pipe cracking. A quick chat with Fahad over at Premier Tuning led to a successful diagnostic of the problem: Smell of fumes behind the battery area, smoke coming from the driver-side wheel-well etc. He mentioned that if the DPF had indeed been removed, then he could get the work done on Sunday and for a lower price than the DPF + EGR removal package. Following his instructions I managed to confirm that the DPF was out (jacking up the car and taking a look after unbolting part of the exhaust) but also discovered that the previous owner had drilled a hole in the cat as well . Fahad said this wouldn't be a problem for the tune.

Did the drive to Halifax Sunday morning and have to say that he's a sound guy and of course knows a lot about these cars. He did the work + diagnostics in around 2 hours and, with this being my first accord, was able to point out some things which I hadn't noticed! Fumes in the cabin gone and engine responsiveness and power are improved massively. Overall, great service and would recommend to anyone having similar problems.

Thank you, great to meet you. Glad to hear she’s running well.
