Radiator fans

Another little concern on my newly acquired Accord gents is the radiator fans seem to be coming on a bit more than cars I've had previously. The temp gauge never reaches half way and there's plenty of coolant in the header tank so it all looks ok yet a few times now I've noticed I've arrived somewhere and found the fans working away.
Are your cars like that? I never heard the fans on my previous Toyota but every car is different I guess,

The temperature gauge should sit around a third. The fans are loud and come on quite often. Mine is exactly the same.

Yeah it's probably just over a third I'd say. Between a third and half way.

Same with both here. Air-con will trigger one of the fans if I'm thinking right.

Yep temps sit just below half way. My fan doesn't come on that much, not very loud either I would say.

I'm a big fan of radiators - they keep the engine cool....
