I have a couple of lamps out on the AC control unit and Radio. Can you get new ones and is it easy to replace them.

Its a pain at night not being able to see the LCD display.

Also is anyone breaking a car? I could do with a rear parcel shelf since the retractable cords are broken and are tied up with boot laces !

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, it's possible to replace the bulbs on the AC module. You have to remove AC module, which is the same as removing the radio. Then you just have to open the module and replace the bulbs. When I replaced mine, I couldn't find them anywhere, had to go to a Honda dealer, and they are not cheap...

Here is a couple of pictures I took when I did mine:

Hi Pedro thanks for the info

Are they bulbs or LED's ? How many are there

Do you need special tools to remove the unit or does it just slide out with the help of a screwdriver?

They are bulbs, and they are not all the same. Can't remember how many...
I guess that you could replace them by leds, but you need to know their exact size.

Just a screwdriver, nothing special

You need three bulbs if all the light has gone out, I bought mine from Holdrcroft they were around under £2 each. Haven't got round to fitting them though, my clock lightbulb is the one that doesnt work.
