Intermittent problem - sometimes the red channel on the sat nav screen fails to work, which means the overall colour is somewhat yellowed out. A firm push/knock with my knee against the central console to the right of the sat nav often clicks it back to the correct colouring.

Loose wiring perhaps? I have installed an Xcarlink myself, many months back, perhaps this has contributed to the problem?

Hopefully it's a simple fix. Just looking at a new clutch and DMF replacement, so any further repairs may be the straw that...

:(

That will happen if a wire is loose. Take the unit out and just make sure all are in correctly.

Same happened to me

Yep! Give her the reach around and give everything a jiggle.

If the colour drops in and out you know you have a loose cable. Happens all the time on old arcade machines. At least with the Sat Nav Screen you're not dealing with a cathode ray tube storing 25000 volts ;) .

Thanks very much for the advice folks, time for a console strip down I guess. Is there a danger that if I do give her the reach around, and then a jiggle, I might get a slap?

Hang on, I have already. It's called paying for a new clutch and flywheel...
