Scratched instrument binicle

Hi guys,

Got a couple of annoying scratches in the instrument binicle on my Tourer and would like to polish them out....

Restricted space means it would be easier to remove but wondered how easy it is to do?

I don't suppose it is possible just to replace the plastic front?

Anyone aware whether it has a uv protective layer like headlights?

Any tips welcome....

Never removed one myself. I would ***ume you will need to take the steering cowel off as well as the surround around the binicle. As I say I never took one off.

Maybe someone else can have a try?

As Shabz said iv nether removed this before and haven't heard this done before tbo.
I would say if you can get a good plastic polish and take your time polishing it back to new.For the time and effort it would take to remove the plastic you will be better off using the time to polish still intact.
