For some reason I can't find the search function (using phone) so apologies if this has already been discussed somewhere..

Quite simply, has anyone here ever replaced a dud seat heater, how much effort is involved in taking the seat apart (mine are leathers if that makes a difference) and finally any suggestions on where to get replacement parts?

Can just find it, but I'm sure someone has repaired a cracked element and someone else has fitted 3rd party replacements. If it turns up I'll post back...
 
So basically 'loads of agro' haha never mind, I'll revisit this when it goes colder again maybe? Or look for replacement seats off a low mileage crashed one or something
 
I changed my seat heater by buyng a passenger seat from a scrap car ( less wear on the elements) and using fitting the whole seat onto my old base. The cover needs to be taken off if you just want to change the element. Test it first using a multi meter!
