Hi there,
I've got a question - I've read a number of threads where it's been recommended that you should perform a service with only genuine parts. Has anyone got definitive reasons for this?
With all of my past cars, I've always had success with ordering service parts from places like eurocarparts. I've always had work done on my cars in the same way for 10 years, I've had my friend (a self-taught mechanic of over 30 years) carry out work on my cars at his home, as he has a garage full of tools - I'll buy the parts and he'll do the work.
If it really is the general consensus that genuine parts are essential to use, where is the best/cheapest place to get them?
Thanks,
Mark
