hello all I have just recently acquired a 2006 ictdi exec tourer, now as most of the time the car is used for local trips etc I don't go over about 40 mph however if I get up to speeds beyond 50 I get a shaking feeling through the front end, now today I did a tester got on the dual carriageway and from 50 the car was fairly smooth in slowing down, so on to test 2 I blasted it up to 85 then hit the brakes, good god I soon let off the pedal the best way of describing it is imagine driving at speed on a nice smooth road then suddenly the road turns into cobbles, I am guessing that I will need new discs and pads in the front, I have experienced brake judder before on my previous car a ford mondeo but it was nothing like what I felt today, my service is due in about a month so looks like I will be spending extra pennies.
