What's new

Somebody Here ?

I’ve seen this listing previously. It’s more likely a head gasket problem.

I’m collecting it tomorrow. The guy who bought it off eBay jerked him around. It wasn’t £400 but not too much more. It’s going to be a project for my 16 year old to learn on, and if we can fix it and flip it.. that becomes his pot for a first car next year.

If we lose it all because it’s not worth fixing, it’s still a learning curve. I want my lad to feel invested in his first car, and the journey towards it. Will keep everyone posted with progress on the Premier Tuning insta page.

I’ll try and keep the story updated here

Not sure I understand. Yes the car has a valid mot. And we solved the over heating problem almost immediately, it was simply a split hose!

As has happened to a neighbour, his car in the driveway for two months whilst on a cruise. Somebody cloned the plate on a similar vehicle and went on a speeding spree three counties away.

Quick question, are the VIII Accord diesels ULEZ exempt ?

I may have a link to a seller nearby , logistics says no in the long run but family and winter not far away I am going to be hard pushed to justify taxing the old jalopy at £265 for the next year if a replacement Mk 8 can bring back work from earlier clients, free of the £12.50 (soon to be increased) daily work inside the London enclave.

No unfortunately they’re Euro5 diesel which is not compliant.

Thanks, I 'borrowed' the number plate on the car to check the ULEZ site, I had some intel that certain i-dtec Hondas were Euro 6 but it looks to be only smaller capacity models.

I'll pass on the offer and pay the £265 for another year in the Mk7 tourer now seeing - if correct - the government are royally screwing those with later - more ecofriendly - vehicles.
