Steering wheel questions

Hello everyone!

The steering wheel on my accord is à little Old and à little worn.

Has anyone ever delt with the plastics bending like on the picture?

Also,the plastics around the connectors are really bad too...

I would like to repair it. Has anyone ever done this before? I am quite à newbe,is the steering wheel easy to work on? There are some steering wheels on eBay, but they are sold without the airbag, can I buy one and replace it with mine without risking it blowing out?

You can. The SRS is attached to the part with the Emblem. You have to be careful anyway. You have to remove few plastics and unscrew few bolts, and disconnect few plugs. Just do it slowly to avoid braking something.

Remove the battery connections and leave for a while before you start to dismantle it!

as far as I remember there is 3 star bolts you need to disconnect battery for 15 minutes then undo bolts disconnect airbag connector and bolt to remove steering wheel you can use a puller to make easier.
