Steering Wheel

Hi, i bought a EP3 steering wheel of a mate yesterday to fit onto my CL9 and i got him to fit it whilst i had to pop out, i came back to find that it had all been done and looked great but when i took the car out later i noticed the airbag light was on the dash and there was a scratching sound coming from behind the steering wheel, I've took the wheel back off and there is a plastic housing where the airbag plugs into and all the cable type thing is all hanging loose. Is there a way to replace it and if so would someone be able to tell me the correct name for it so i could order a new 1.

you should of removed some of the stereo wires from the white connector block.also you need to make the hole on the back of the ep3 wheel bigger,as it doesnt fit properly.and iirc use the cl9 horn wire.

iirc only honda can reset the srs light

im amazed you let your mate play with your srs system

To be honest he has done loads and never had a problem so had no reason not to trust that he would do a good job but that part does look like what im going to be after

I have found out what the part is and bought a replacement and now need to fit it. i know the steering wheel has to come off and then you have to take the plastic housing off and the top just pops off nice and easy but i cant see how you take the bottom part off and cant see any screws anywhere, does anyone know if there are any screws holding this on?
