Hi,
On my Accord, 2010 2.0 EX manual saloon I found that the coolant was colored blue, the same as my screen wash.
I checked it's strength and it protects down to approximately -36 degrees C.
Service history of 3 annuals at Chester Honda.
So I questioned both branches of Bristol Honda, and Howards Honda of Weston Super Mare, Parts Depts. and all three said it could/should be Red or Green.
Bristol Honda (Brislington) sold me a 1 litre bottle of "Castrol Radcool" Coolant which is neat and clear, and has a service life of one year.
I've contacted Honda UK but have yet to receive a definitive answer.
However, I have come across the Honda All Season Type 2 on the internet and it appears to be blue, premixed and with a service life of up to 10 years.
.I believe that Honda, worldwide, changed from Green to Blue in 2004.
Any comments please,
Cheers,
Ampers.
