On my accord I am noticing some signs of worn engine mounts (same signs as my old civics) whereby the engine feels slightly unresponsive when pulling away/ jerking when rolling along in 1st/2nd gear/ basically can feel the engine rocking when changing gears etc. Now on the B-series, this was sorted with polyurethane engine inserts and also a torque damper to aid.

As the accord is more refine and comfortable, I would imagine the torque mount inserts would make the accord rattle like hell. Therefore a Torque Damper should help in this instance, whilst compromising on 'rattle' lol. Has anyone installed a torque damper or even engine mount inserts and where did you get them from?

not sure if this is relevant, but there are active engine mounts on the 2.4
diagram on Lings is here
a thread about it is here

Very interesting. I think I can actually hear my pneumatic solenoid click occasionally when I pull away or change gers!
