Type R Calipers and Carriers!

Hi all! My car is a 7th gen euro r and I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on the front as mine have well and truly died!

So been on the phone to vtec direct and hondar speaking to andy and Maz (fantastic customer service! Can not recommend them enough) and come to the conclusion that there are not many options for the standard car, so they advised that I get Calipers and carriers for the front from an accord type r and they will fit straight on!

So the question is does anybody have or know someone that has the type r (ch1) Calipers and carriers lying around, off a broken car or for sale?

Hello Hamid. I would recommend looking on eBay and checking breaker yards. You will however need to also refurb them.
I'm sure I spotted a set on eBay not long ago.
 
You just need to find someone breaking an ATR. Try joining the ATR forum and look around for someone breaking one.

Just remember wherever you get them from they'll need returning.

I have got everything sorted! :)
Watch the 7th gen space by the end of the week! One of a few people to have the ds2500 on a 7th gen accord!

Saw new calipers on the bay and look like good value.....

Where did you source yours?


Did you change the lines?


How are those pads?
