Hi guys can anybody help I'm going to put my summer wheel on shortly and I'm wondering what's the best tyre pressure to use I've got a 2005 Cl7 and just lowered 40mm and going to put 8x18 rims on with 215/35/18 tyres what's the best tyre pressure to use with them as I don't want to knacker my tyres there only 6 month old ,[emoji106]cheers

Wrong tyre size mate

225/40/18 or if you want narrower then 215/45/18

I've already got them on the wheels it gives it a little stretch look , was just asking about tyre pressures ?

No idea with stretch, i'm guessing they should be quite high so probably around 36psi

Cool mate that's about what I was thinking il try that and see how it goes [emoji106] cheers

215/45-18's?

If so that's the size I used to run on my legacy on an 18x8 rim.

Despite the 4wd, the cars are almost the same weight (the Subaru was 30kg lighter)

I used to run anything from 36 to 40 depending on wether I was running round empty or towing with a car full of stuff. It was fine on all of them.

I'd start at 36, as Fahad says, and go from there.
Add 2 psi and see how it feels etc. It's all personal preference.

For those that are into about economy, the difference between 36 and 40 psi all round is 0.5 mpg on my diesel.
