Hi, just joined and looking to buy a 7th gen diesel. I have come across one that seems worth a look but was wondering about the service history, I am aware of how important the quality of parts and oil are to these cars.
The car was serviced at 8,000 and 21,000 miles by Honda, then at 33000, 39000,42000, 56000 and 60000 by the same Unipart Car Care Centre, the car has less than 61,000 miles on the clock it is a 56 plate. I have no experience of Unipart Car Care Centres. Any advice welcome.

Hi and welcome.

That sounds like a nice low mileage example with a good history. I think you'll struggle to find another one as good on a nine year old car. Unipart are quality parts and will no doubt run their garage chain to high standards. Just use 0W 30 and genuine Honda fuel filters from now on and hopefully all will be well.

Sounds decent as Clff has said. Check for obvious things like evidence of crash damage repair and any unusual noises etc

If the engine sounds strong(no chain rattle ) would be happy with that history.
