Hi all.

This afternoon was driving popped out of the car for a minute with engine running came back and the VSA light was on. I remember when I first bought the car that if the front wheel spun in wet weather the Vsa light would flash, but I dont know if that has anything to do with it.

I've done a bit of googling and have seen that a new part could cost up to £1600.

Any recommendations please?

Cheers

Hi Serg,

First thing is to get the code read to see what the actual issue is. It could the an ABS sensor (much cheaper) for the ABS Modulator. The modulator error is the dreaded 66-1 code :(

However, if you need to replace the modulator, you'd be better off getting your current one repaired.

Hi Jay, cheers for the reply mate.

Popped out again in the car earlier, and the VSA light is now off, go figure. Hopefully it was just a glitch, but we shall see.

Would honda check for any fault codes or do they charge??

Cheers

Some Honda places charge, some don't - it all depends.

Given that it's off, it could be something like the brake pedal switch. I had this on mine and was an easy fix. Steve put a DIY on here somewhere.
