VSA unit removal question

Having the VSA light on in our 57-plate Accord, I have found a local firm who say they can fix the unit. I have located it under the bonnet to remove it, but I am not clear about the brake pipes that enter the top - are they constantly pressurized with brake fluid i.e. will it spew everywhere when they are unbolted? The instructions I found for removal elsewhere on the Net simply mentioned unbolting them, but nothing about fluid spillage.

Before you go doing something major like this, have you checked the brake switch under the pedal? This is often the cause for VSA light issues. Failing that, it's often a wheel speed sensor.

If it is the VSA unit and you're looking to remove it, I imagine you'd want to drain the brake fluid first.

You need to get the code read 1st mate if its a 66.1 then its the unit shot.If not it will give you another fault code like a wheel sensor.
