Warning light urgent help please

Hi,

My rear demister wasn't working so I pulled the 7.5a fuse from under bonnet and swapped with the 7.5a next to it. (Turns out I'd actually removed relay a few days back rather than a/c while searching for battery drain).

Now I've the flashing coil light on my dash.

Yes. Only happened since pulling the fuse/relay

If you pull the a/c relay out on the diesel for some reason the glow plug light comes on. But it doesn't actually mean anything.

some cheap OBD readers will clear it, but some won't

Try disconnecting the battery negative connection for at least 20 minutes... if the problem has cleared then the warning indications should clear.

Have you got the air con relay back in?

no as I've removed that to see if it's that or the hft draining my battery

Ah sorry I didn't know.

I put the relay back in and then disconnected the positive for a couple of hours. It didn't work so popped the relay back out.

Next step buying a code reader?
