Hello all,

I hope someone can help. I have a 2009 2.4 AT CU2 Accord.

My issue is to do with the door locks. The CU2 has the master power switch in the drivers door card which controls doors and windows. Then you also have a locking and unlocking tab next to the interior door handle on each door.

Initially the fault was if I locked the car using either the button on the master power switch or the tab next to the drivers door handle, all doors would lock. If I then tried to open all doors only the rear drivers door (rear right) would not open.

I swapped out the master power switch and the issue changed where by now the button on the master power switch successfully locks and unlocks all doors but the tab next to the door handle will only lock all doors. When trying to unlock only the drivers door unlocks, the remaining three doors stay locked.

I have no issues opening all doors using the fob or the key in the door method. Just to note I have also swapped out the drivers door actuator for a brand new Honda replacement.

Sorry if this sounds confusing, that is because it is and I don't know what my next step should be.

Thanks in advance.

This sounds like a PITA, but perhaps you can troubleshoot this by disconnecting the wires at (or to) each lock actuator in turn, and see if the problem goes away at when one of them is disconnected. Or disconnect them all at the central point and feed them back in one by one. This will need a wiring diagram, and one of those little key sets (terminal release tools)that help remove individual wires from the plug without cutting or mangling.

With luck, you might find one door is causing it all.

If you get no answers here, try searching or asking in US Honda / Acura TSX forums. Statistically someone likely has had a mystery problem like yours.

If you can get access to Honda HDS software im pretty sure there's a function in there to actuate things like door locks. You might even get a stored code.

Try the service manual (called ESM) too usually there's step-by-step troubleshooting
