Weird electric issue on my 2005 tourer

My 2005 k24 tourer has developed a weird electrical problem. Stereo keeps cutting out, on a couple occasions the engine has cut out but restarted, just now I put the key In the ignition and got nothing, no dash lights nothing, then all of a sudden it came back to life. New battery and alternator just fitted. Any ideas?

Could be a bad ignition barrel

Yeah i thought that, im going to send it to my auto electrician, i just dont have the time to look into it any further, and cba with electrical work

car is all fixed, apparently there's a small fuse block for the alternator that had abit of corrosion in it that's been sorted and the battery + terminal wasn't to smart either
