Car
accord 2.2 i-DTEC EX
Due to having a brain aneurysm in October last year and just been for the results of a scan looks like wont be driving for a long time yet
so rather than the car just sitting there think she will have to go Accord 2.2 diesel EX saloon 6 spd 2010 service history, genuine 30,000
on the clock everything works as it should with no faults what price should I ask for it any ideas anybody.

Having sold my old toyota recently mate it seems to me that cars have two values. The first being what it's worth and the second being what people will actually pay. My toyota was probably only worth about 2600 roughly but because it was a really nice example and people want a nice one, people are prepared to pay that bit more. I ended up getting 3200 for mine.
So if I were you i'd look on auto trader and see what price similar spec and mileage cars are going for and use that as a starting point. Plus along with photos, do a video where you go round the car and talk through any noticeable scratches and the cars good points as well. It does wonders for buyer confidence and will really help you.
There wont be many Accord diesels with that low mileage about and that'll make it in demand which means you have the upper hand.

Cheers Alan had a poke about the prices vary so much it is a nice clean example with cream/ivory leather got some quotes on line they are coming back around £8,500
which is not bad I suppose.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope you have a speedy and successful recovery.

Yeah I think if you get about £8000 for it you'll be doing well. That'd be the target I'd want in your shoes. Bare in mind cars sold by dealers in that price bracket will have warranty and plus most people will have a part ex which obviously you can't cater for. But yeah maybe stick it up for £8500 and see if anyone bites or offers eight. Somewhere round there.
