Hi Guys,
I have the worst luck with tyre punctures!! Had a nail AGAIN right on the edge and so had to replace that and causing a slow puncture. Like the 7th or 8th tyre I have replaced for the car in last 6 months lol
Decided to pop over to another garage that is reputable in my area rather than the one I normally use as I am losing my patience with them. These guys saved me a fiver on each tyre straight away. I have lost count on how many tyres I have had to replace due to punctures and cracked tyres.
Anyways, when I drive over 35mph, I get a loud humming noise that accompanies it. The guys changed tyres around and done all that he could and he has got it down to rear near side bearing. Never going back to old tyre shop. Whilst there he showed me the state of my rear pads and discs and it wasn't looking good lol and needs changing.
He has quoted me for supply and fitting rear nearside wheel bearing, rear brake discs and pads for 245?? Plus I cheekily asked him to replace my fuel filter that I bought of the forum lol
Highly unlikely he is using original parts. I am totally clueless when it comes to these kind of things (its just who i am!!)
Any advice would be gratefully welcomed!
