hi
looking to change the wheels on my accord. currently on 15" 4x114.3 standard honda wheels.
i was wanting to go to 16" or 17" without spending a fortune but this pcd is hard to get wheels for.
i have seen wheels on 200sx which are same pcd.
anyone any pics of there car with different wheels on?

Hi mate,

There's a fair few wheels out there that will fit - 4th gen Preludes have a 4x114.3 stud pattern for example.

Apologies for the rubbish photo, but here's my 6g sitting on some 17 inch BK's off my Prelude

IMO the large wheels don't really suit it, I prefer the stock ones :)

;)

I think that the 16 inch from the sport edition which resembles the ones from the TypeR are the best looking wheels for our cars.

I have those 15 inch and I also like them allot, but it would look better if they were 16".
BTW, does anyone have a picture of an accord using those 15 inch wheels painted in gray or anthracite? Always were curious too see how they look in a darker color ;)

I'm on my standard SE Sport 16's, and I love 'em! Gives fantastic acceleration too with the H22.

Haha yeah, they looked alright on my Prelude, but on my Accord it's a no

I had to swap the wheels between the cars though as I needed sensible wheels on the Prelude for winter.

The 6g Accord is still over at my parents, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it sadly :( My Golf is in the garage being rebuilt currently, however once it's sorted the Accord will be flat bedded over and will go in for some intensive work! I just need to pull my finger out with the Golf really

I'm in 2 minds these days though - not sure whether to go H22A, or put in a JDM F22B non VTEC, as they're good foundations for a turbo build... More work and expense though!!

I've got 16" BBS wheels with 205/50 tyres on mine, went down the 18" route with 35 profile tyres and it did my head in on a lowered car hence i now rock 16's.

My boy has prob got 6's on his Alfa pedal car, any bigger and it wouldnt ride right on my carpet.

That looks like a cracking motor Dale and yours looks tasty as well  .

I've got a few things to do to mine including Genuine Honda front and rear bumper bottom lips, a Type R rear spoiler and Skirts and of course the rear exhaust from yours truly :) .

Oh, and some 16" alloys.

When I've done all that I'll put up some piccies.

Regards,
Pete.

How stiffer does it get when compared to the normal springs?

They are not harsh at all as im running standard shocks.

My wheels maybe for sale (maybe) check the other thread chaps :)
