I have a wobble on the steering whilst braking. have changed rear discs and pads last week but still doing it. so not to state the obvious but think its the front discs that are maybe warped. im going to change these in a couple of weeks so hopefully it should sort it. the question is , is there any other things that I should be aware of that would make the wobble??

Could it be that you have a crooked alloy? Or even your tires are uneven worn out.personally i would give a go at wheel balancing and go from there.

Yeah I was thinking suspension parts. Had both lower wishbones done a month ago including drop links. Was wobbling before that. So I reckon discs

I'd check the upper arms. Pretty easy, pull on the top of each front wheel while looking at the ball joint over the top of the tread... don't even need to jack up the car!

Long ago, when i was installing EP3 brakes on my EK, i had to remove the lead weights used for the wheel balancing because the callipers where literally licking the inside of the DC2 15"s. Until i reweighed them i had wobble under the slightest braking.

Rear warped discs don't normally create this sensation, only front as the vibration transfers through the steering column. As you've already said yourself, stating the obvious really
