My 2007 Accord has decided that it is time it had some TLC so as a gesture the VSA light came on, I own an HIM and the codes point straight to the VSA unit but my question is if I could pick one up at the right price can I fit it to my car and make it work using my HIM and if so does anyone have the proceedure for doing this, the logic is to keep my car on the road while I send the faulty unit away for repair and then to swap it back onto my car as the company I am looking at to repair it offers a lifetime warranty on the repaired unit.

Yes quite straightforward you just need to perform a neutralisation procedure from within the abs function. It's pretty straightforward once you get into those menus.

Getting into those menus was the bit that worried me, I have had the HIM for about a year to 18 months but only ever used it the once to read the code that identified it was the VSA module that was at fault, thank you for the reply
