hi was driving my accord 2005 diesel 2.2 and put foot down just to give a good blast and lost power after a judder and went into limp mode and the coil light was flashing , managed to limp home turned engine off for an hour went back out to start it and it was fine any ideas ta drpez

There's plenty on the forum regards the Diesels in limp mode. Most often I think it boils down to the fuel filter. Have a search around the diesel faults section.

You really need to have the stored error code read using an OBD2 reader... they are quite cheap to buy on eBay or Amazon.

But I'll guess it's the fuel filter. When was it last changed and is it the correct Bosch part (ending in 442)?

thanks changed it about a month ago but thinking i havent bleed it right ?
Even if you didn't bleed it very well, any remaining air would have been purged out within seconds after the engine started. Was it the proper Bosch part?

also you dont happen to know where the aeriel is on a 2005 estate accord keep loosing signal thanks

dont thinks so should i get a bosch ?
You should do really. It really is a common problem when non-standard filters are used, as these engines are stupidly sensitive to excess restriction through the filter... some aftermarket ones must be OK, but it appears that most aren't. But get the codes read, a restricted filter usually causes a P1065 and/or P0087 DTC.

Good advice given already, and if you need a deeper diagnostic service, I offer one from Halifax so not too far.

Drop me an email for details.
