Should checking the coolant levels be done with a warm or cold engine? I ask because with a warm engine, coolant level is at max, but with a cold engine it is below min and not sure if i need to top-up.

If you drive normally there is no smoke, but if you put your foot down (WOT) it smokes like a chimney. That being said after around 8 months with the stage 1 egr off map im still perfectly happy with it and have no intention of changing it soon. (Also honda 325 clutch seems to be holding it so far)
