    New Accord

I’m so pleased it went to you Rod, and I hope it brings you years of smiles and trouble free motoring. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed putting an easy 5k miles on it the last 4-5 months, she really is a beauty.

    CW2 Type S - Spacers

They look good. How do these spacers work as these cars have studs rather than wheel bolts. How are you compensating for the reduced thread on the lug nuts?

    Varying Clutch Bite Point

Use a head torch, get right under the clutch pedal. Unclip the blue spring so you can get access to the lock nut against the push rod. Then with a pair of pliers carefully grip the push rod and spin it clockwise in small increments to extend its length. Once you’re happy with the position...

    Dirty oil,noisy engeine, accord 2.4 2007

Buy some basic tools, including a feeler gauge and watch some YouTube videos on Honda K series valve clearance adjustment. It’s not hard to do.

    Auto gear box probs!

I’ve had some good results with liqui moly additives in other vehicles, worth a shot but if the ATF is due I would do that first.

I would also check and reset your valve clearances on this engine.

Yep, Cox are a Honda main dealer. Be careful on eBay, plenty of fake plugs going about.

Rear Brake lights on 2004 2.0l petrol tourer

I thought the same - peel back the wiring loom and see if it’s been previously spliced into somewhere. I removed the towbar from our 8th gen recently and was very careful to remove each connection and preserve the integrity of each cable.

    Turbocharger parts

That’s your actuator, it controls the variable vanes on the turbo.

    ice blasting.

Not had it done, but very intrigued myself. I’ve been contemplating it for my classic Saab 900. Do share your experience if you have it done.

    ABS issue with 8th gen

No worries, hope she’s driving well. I’m not aware of any modulator issues that would cause this. Any malfunctions with the modulator like solenoid failures would trigger an error.. I know you think that the calliper is fine but it’s still worth grabbing another one (even used) and swapping...

    ABS issue with 8th gen

I would personally replace the caliper and carrier. Have you ensured your slider pins are clean and smooth? The piston may be fine but if the pins aren’t moving properly then you’ll still get binding.
