Well, all I can say is what my mechanic said (non-Honda): Honda needs genuine Honda PSF. Never mix. Maybe if you drained the system of genuine fluid and refilled with another you might be ok? I don't know... But never mix - I did, with a bad result.

You were right! A rusted crack appeared underneath the sealant right in the joint where the arch meets the firewall. I have fixed it temporarely with some body sealant - I'll do a more permament repair once the weather is a bit warmer. Thanks for the tip :)

Weel, I removed the door cards and there seems to be some cracks through the adhesive that holds the plastic sheet. These are at the bottom of the door - not so much on the front doors but they are evident on both back doors. They are not very large, but I can see a small trail where water might...

Yes, they did pay me for the donor engine. I get the work done for free. I got a new clutch for the car yesterday. Can't wait to test drive it when everything is put back in place ( done right this time! ) :)

I'm having my old F18B2 engine swapped for a newer, lower milage engine - also a F18B2. Only problem is... the engine I can get hold of is made for an Automatic transmission - I have a standard manual on my car, and I'm keeping it a manual :) Is it possible to do this swap? If so, do I need...

I will plug and "pray" :D Hopefully it will be an easy swap. The rest of the car is in very good condition, so that is why I spend the extra cash to keep it for a few more years.
