    Check System :(

Light came back on over the weekend. Called Holdcroft for a quote on a new filter. An Eye-watering £915 with discount. I can get an aftermarket one for £480. Holdcroft did mention that they have some liquid they use to clean them - anyone know anything about this? Some other forum suggests...

    Check System :(

Had a manual regen done on it yesterday by a local company that my nieighbour owns. Got the car back last night and its now running perfectly. Took it for a reasonable 40-50 mile drive last night mostly on the motorway in 4th and 5th. Car seems to be pulling a bit better now than it was before...

    Check System :(

84500 Not in limp mode at 50 - 60 mph id bet tho! I don't think a 250 mile drive in limp mode would be the best for the engine! Ive arranged to have my Neighbour who runs an independant Autoelectrical Garage take it in tomorrow and so a forced Regen on it. So will see how that goes .

Took the car for a decent motorway run. Still the same. Looks like it might neeed a forced regeneration. Will need to call the dealer tomorrow and get a quote to do it.

    Front door speakers

Agreed I wouldn't pay £170 for them! I did have a fair old battle with honda to get them done under the warranty!

    Front door speakers

The standard door speakers in mine were all replaced under the warrenty recall. Now they have been replaced I can't fault the sound quality. The magnet size is apparently (according to a mate who designs audio systems) some new neodymium magnet design that negates the need for big magnets. His...

    Bearing Noise

Sat currently in quick fit as they check the Geo and fit two new tyres. Ive got a 5 hour drive today and a 9 hour drive next week so have to get it sorted. I suspect it will be camber. Last time they checked it it was running negative. However the rears have done 30k and been on a year and a...

    Bearing Noise

The noise was worse when the rears are on the front. We did the bearings and the drivers side was a bit worn. There was a ton of grease came out of so I think it had been running a bit dry. Noise wise it's better but I'm still getting a bit noise from the rear. I'm not getting the vibration...

    Bearing Noise

Had my Father in law look at it tonight - Hes a mechanic - and he reckons both front bearings are shot. Which would explain why the loading left to right wouldnt make a difference to the noise. Will be calling holdcroft in the morning to order two new bearings.

    Bearing Noise

No load either way doenst change it. Accelleation decelleration or coasting in neutral with the clutch in the noise remains constant.

    Bearing Noise

Falken Ziex 914's on the front and 912's on the rears Post one was spinning the wheels by hand Post 4 was the car on an axle stand and driving the wheel to 40mph. At 40 mph the grinding noise started.

If not the bearing any suggestion as to what it could be?
