    Parking Sensor Issue

Realize I’m a bit late to the party but one thing I’ve learned from the parking sensors suddenly becoming oversensitive is that if the colour has peeled off them, or if they are worn in some other way, it helps to put a little touch up paint on them or just a piece of tape. Thing is that the...

    Hello from south Scandinavia

Hi, thanks for asking :) Yes the issue got solved thanks to the info I could pick up on this forum, I replaced the passenger side window switch module, check out the details in this thread, post #57 and on https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/passenger-power-window-mirror-not-working.22303/page-2

    Possible radiator issues

If you get smoke (usually white) it sounds like a blown head gasket. The missing coolant must go somewhere, either via leakage, boiling or via the combustion chamber (blown head gasket). Block test is an easy way to find out if you have exhausts in your coolant...

Passenger Power Window & Mirror not working.

I get your point and appreciate the heads up, the only thing we can be sure of is that the car industry will always choose whatever solution that will be cheapest for them to manufacture. In this case the design seems to be the same on the LHD Accord however. I replaced the passenger door...

Problem finding front wiper blades or rubber replacements for 1982 Honda Accord MK1 EX 1.6 petrol

You typically get many different adapters when buying wiper blades nowadays, and its not unlikely there is one for the pin type of connection you have as well among them. Have you checked out Autodoc...

Looking to buy a 2010 Accord Dtec Auto advice needed.

Unfortunately, I have no experience from either Hondas diesel engines or automatic transmissions, but what I can tell you is that the 8th generation Accord is overall a very reliable car. A college had 2009 like mine but with aut trans for many years, and I like me he had zero issues with it...

    manually fold side view mirrors

In my case they had been folded in electrically and then the passenger’s side didn’t fold out, so I tried to do it by hand, but it seemed locked in the fold-in position. As always it’s how hard you dare to pull without braking anything :)

    manually fold side view mirrors

Does anyone know if its possible to manually fold in & out the side view mirrors on the Accord 8th gen? On most cars you can do this , but when I try it on the Honda it feels like they should brake...

Passenger Power Window & Mirror not working.

Realize this is an old thread and that some of the members might not be active here anymore, but as this seems to be a fairly frequent issue, I will add my post Probably should point out first that my accord is a LHD as I’m not in the UK, but it shouldn’t really matter as its ought to be the...

    Hello from south Scandinavia

Thanks the responds guys I certainly will explore the link to that workshop manual, I have an older extra computer with windows 10 that I believe can be reversed to XP if needed. Regarding the glovebox button I never noticed it either during the 11 years we have had the car, believe it may be...

    Hello from south Scandinavia

Hello, I’m a happy owner of a 2009 Honda Accord Executive, 2.0 and 6-speed manual trans I purchased it back in 2012 and it’s been one of the most grateful cars I’ve owned during my 40 years of car owning, so far… :) which is also why I still have it. Apart from a broken Headlight Level...
