id be interested in other peoples views on this aswell,as im in the same boat,a couple of weeks after i bought my accord,i checked my oil,and there was a tiny bit on the end of dipstick,i hope i caught in time,as the car seems ok now,only i know it burns oil and drinks petrol,i top the oil up...

well had another go at my brakes today,this time i used a g clamp to push the piston, and turned the piston at the same time with a plumbers pliars, and it worked, so ive got the piston wound back now,so i check the sliding pins and they are seized they wont budge,any advice on of to free up the...

thanks for your help,well when i turned the brake calper clockwise for about 10 mins, it wasnt going anywhere,it just kept turning,and i noticed there was brake fluid weeping out of the nipple,so i think the caliper is broken,thanks for the offer stuart im waiting for word back from my local...

hi there,i decided to change my rear brake pads today,turns out my driver side rear caliper is seized,i never even noticed,what the chances the passenger side is seized aswell,im of to the scrapyards on a hunt, hopefully i can pick one up,anyone elses accord calipers seize on them, is this common.

Just an update, well I cleaned under the car turns out it's weeping out of the hole at bottom of bel housing so I brought the car to local mechanic, he said it's not that bad of a leak when it gets really bad then I should repair it,and just to keep an eye on the oil level as the gearbox etc has...

thanks for replying,ive changed the manual gearbox oil about a month ago,so i know it wasnt over filled,when i done the change i just filled the transmission until the oil was coming out of the filling hole,ill give the underneath a good clean and check again just to make sure where its leaking...

I got under my car to do an oil service I noticed that theres an oil leak from a little hole at the bottom of the transmission I've googled it and what I'm finding is that it's the rear main seal that's gone has anyone here ever had that problem and was it costly to repair could I do it myself...

i had the same noises from my car,it turned out to be a lower ball joint,so i had it replaced and the noise hasnt come back,does it do it when you turn the steering wheel,mine did squeak while turning the wheel and when you pressed down on the suspension.
