    What's the condition of the brake fluid? Could be the actual caliper that's faulty. Pitted cylinder, faulty square cut seal, faulty piston boot, debris, or pads could be stuck in carrier. Could be a range of reasons.

    Costco premium diesel is actually cheaper than standard diesel. So it does work out cheaper for premium fuel.

    ^Premium diesel has more additives and is better for your engine health. I have been using Costco Premium fuel for about 4 years. In a range of different cars. No issues.

    IMRC valve is dead. There is a revised part. Get a genuine new one from Honda. Around £100 i think. Easy job to replace - takes 5 mins if that. Cataclean is a waste of money on this fault.

    How was the clutch fitted? Was the proper tool used to align it? In some instances when not used, I think this can cause the symptoms you describe. I would also do as you mentioned, make sure the hydraulics are ll in good shape. Flush it through properly.
