Sorry to quote an old post but thought it was relevant :lol: Some of the additives are friction modifiers and that will have big impact on fuel economy in bigger engines which will be generating more heat than smaller ones to start with :rolleyes:

I have to agree simply because my routine is very similar each week, school run and collect parts then workshop and on supermarket brands I get almost 100 miles less on a full tank :mad: over premium petrol so its decided for me :P

5-6th Gen's look great with a spoiler and I've fitted a few in my time, just one thing to consider Hatch back will need uprated gas struts or just mind your Head :lol: my 2002 type v auto (150k) has worn struts so I still haven't fitted the spoiler yet :blush:

Sorry, I was referring to 2.4 Type-S 7th Gen and with you mentioning the Euro-R it's very similar on Trim "Sporty Look"

Glad your back on-board, well almost ;) The 2.4's are plenty of bang for your buck, the Euro-R is a good option but if your not driving it hard I wouldn't see any gains or losses over the 2.4's :huh: So personally I would hold out for the elusive 2.4 8th Gen Manual, unless a 7th Gen Type-S...
