It isn't possible for them to keep their ideas to themselves. It's common practice for manufacturers to buy the oppositions product and strip them down to see what ideas than can use.

It wouldn't surprise me if the government ordered petrol stations to paint all pumps (derv and petrol) the same colour brown. It's the logic they used thinking it would stop people smoking. :wacko:

Probably buckled the battery plates and you would also need to check fuses.

WARNING - Do periodic visual checks on your brake pads. Don't make the same mistake I did and ***ume you will get an audible warning before they wear out. Last week I got that horrible metallic grinding sound when I braked. The outside pad on one of the rear brakes had worn out completely but...

I would fabricate something simple that resembles a dust shield as long as it's secure there is nothing in the rules about it's efficiency.

If the temperature varied the system wouldn't be working correctly. If the heaters working I don't think you have a problem.

Personal experience Brian. I have an 05 pre-facelift tourer with roof rails.

Roof rails were available for the pre-facelift but are a different length and different fixing point to the facelift. The pre-facelift front mounting point is above the front door pillar, the facelift is further forward.

I have a 2 ltr auto estate. Cruising at 75 it's only reving at 2 1/2. That's comfortable motoring. :)

Look at it from another angle. My Accord doesn't have traction control, will the mot tester check to see if there should be a switch wear my blank plate's fitted and nose around under the bonnet looking for clues to see if I had removed a traction control unit ? I don't think so.

Unlike the days of cross-plys six punctures in eighteen months is way over average. I would be more interested in the cause than cure.
