decided to go underneath the car to check the damage of the cat and found that the guard was making the noise. two big jubilee clips did the job.

Ok I ll try to dismantle everything this weekend. Is it normal that the distance of the above posted pics are different? The pads have been replaced at the same time.

I am having problems with the hand break on my 7th gen diesel I've had the car for about 3 months and the previous owner had the driver side hand break cable, rear pads and disks replaced. I noticed that the hand break was't braking very good and tried tightening the setting from the console...

dont know if in uk is the same but check if 8000k are road legal.

are there any downside of removing the catalytic? since there are sensors? will a light in the dashboard light up?

depends how load it is hehe. we have sort of mot but it isnt that strict as in the uk they are mostly strict on tinted glass

dont worry about mot/insurance as I dont live in uk :) i was reading that the car will run rough without it and use more fuel? is that true? does it effect a lot in noise ? :S

My catalytic converter probably needs replacement as I am hearing some exhaust noise coming from the middle of the car. are there any advantages of removing it and just put a stainless steel pipe with a socket for the sensor?
