New belt and reconditioned alternator fitted today.....HH supplied both! Just wished I'd spotted the fix before I fried the old alternator!

Wish I had known about this problem....alternator failed yesterday.....recon unit on way via HH and the new shorter belt so can mod at the same time!

Hi John....found your earlier thread....the panel has two arrows to mark the prying point.....removed in a flash.....ran through with nozzle off having cleared the tank with a diluted white vinegar solution.....soaked the nozzle in a strong soda solution, and cleaned with some fuse wire....job...

Go steady I use Sonus ultra fine and Sonus lube.....very gentle on Honda paint, but still effective!

Not sure I could prize it out without damage :unsure: to be honest I think the trim comes off behind for access just not quite sure how?

Hi guys, One of the front and the rear washer jets have become blocked on the Tourer, and no end of prodding them with a pin has helped :blush: I have replacements for the front but any advice on how to access the high level jet on the rear? Any pictures would be great.....guess I need to...

Hi Guys, Well finally got around to replacing the links this am following the guide....had to get the hack saw involved on one side but the second simply unbolted! Gotta be honest felt a little nervous as I'm no mechanic :blush: ...but pleased I gave it a go seems all fine after a test drive...

Great write up.....the fronts are new on mine but rear drivers side now failed....just worried about those tight nuts....may get some Plusgas first.....I would really love to do this myself!

Just wondered why tar remover? What was the offending bird eating :lol: Ok clay will remove contaminants but the clear coat will be damaged....you'll need to polish it out with a da and compound...but be careful I've a patch on mine where if you look really close you can see the damage to...
