OK, every fuse under bonnet and interior checked and all were okay for continuity on multimeter. Battery reading 12-12.5ish volts on the terminals after sitting for 3 days. Poked around the ignition and it there were voltage readings in multiple places. Any other advice here lads? Thanks...

Which one is the main fuse? Is it bigger than the others?

Hi thanks for getting back. I checked every fuse today inside and under bonnet by removing and looking at them for any breaks in wiring. Will test again tomorrow when I get a voltmeter. Engine etc is standard. It's had a used alternator put in a few months back, and a new battery.

Thanks for that. Took it apart today. Everything seems plugged in etc but I don't know what I'm looking for. Need the car back on the road asap so any help would be really appreciated.

How do I get at it mate? Is there a few hidden screws just, and is there anything in particular to look for?

Got sorted, thanks for the help. Car is 100% now, seems to have fixed all issues and it pulls a lot better. My mechanic managed to get a nut in behind it after much swearing lol. Happy days.

Also would this be affecting the cars power? Has felt sluggish recently

Yeh that all makes sense. Have you any idea how I could get a nut on to this? Would some strong duct tape over the bolt help when it's in place?

Thanks for the reply. Yeh it seems to be having a big affect on the car. The bigger bolt will need that hook thing too though won't it? I think a nut behind it would sort things, but I can see any way of getting behind it. Really annoyed by this, my alarm has recently started going off randomly.

See bolt on left. It gets loose and the 'hook' part pops out. This is also a new bolt.

Same thing here, i'm suspecting it is the brake pedal switch. Had the same issue on my old accord.

So it's likely a case that the ground isn't strong enough? I'll try tightening it again, but i've tried once or twice since and it just doesn't seem to want to tighten beyond handtight and will just spin.
