Follow up to close this thread. A battery disconnect for a couple of minutes cleared the issues.

Thank you for the info on the PAC audio and amp wiring harness in this thread. Been wanting this mod for ages but the cheap android all in one head units don't have a good rep. This looks far better and you get the choice of head unit.

Have this same issue and am about to replace all 4 tyres as they are near legal limit. Will see if that sorts it in my case, if not will be looking a steering pump hoses and track rod ends!

Alpine Used to repair the units but stopped over 5 years ago. Agree a repairer could make some decent cash.

I have never seen them sided. However you should replace in pairs anyway and do both sides.

That's good, shame there is not an upgrade path for the pre facelift. The DVD player lens seems to be made of cheese. After burning out my first one it took 4 attempts buying replacements on eBay, the first three also with ruined lasers.

V2 7th Gen Pre facelift "self burned" disks will last 3-4 months tops ad the DVD lens is not powerful enough and will eventually burn out.

The sat nav is pretty poor and well out of date. Has loads of bugs too and it Runs Windows CE behind the scenes which was never the greatest OS even in its day.

DO NOT Buy a copy. The DVD will work fine for a month or two then the laser will burn out and the whole unit will need replacing. I've been there :( He needs to check ebay etc for a genuine disk that matches his car. There later version is 2.04 I think,t but it makes very little difference...

You are aware this is an Accord forum not a Civic one?

I'm think you need to replace the sat nav unit with the "Premium Audio System" version. The display in the middle of the dash will not work and you'll need the storage unit to replace where the DVD was. What issues are you having with the current unit?

Anyone else had this problem and know the solution? Suspect a sticky relay. The fog light comes on with the side lights but this is intermittent. No amount of fog light switch action will clear it either! Ideas welcome. Thanks John

Well if it beeps I suspect that is not your issue and you also know you have power to the circuit whne reverse is selected. I'd now be trying to find the connect in the wiring loom where the bumper sensors connect and see if that is connected Ok.
