Manual vs Automatic - Transmission lifespan / reliability?

I was wondering, comparing manual and automatic versions of the Accord. What mileage is your experience of clutch / transmission issues and what cost to repair? So a manual probably 110000 and the clutch needed replacing. £600 With Automatics, what is the equivalent? clutch packs? What mileage...

Aircon Issue - Pressure Sensor (SOLVED)

I had the same error code on the HDS by the way. Short between module and sensor. I thought getting the climate control unit out was just as troublesome. So went for the sensor first. I would be confident it is the sensor. I mean nothing really moves behind the unit for a short to occur.

    Strong diesel fumes around car

Forget what I said earlier, the smell is also very strong even when the engine is warm. So the engine time to warm up is probably normal. I'm used to a petrol that gets warm very quickly. We saw the EGR pipe was welded when it was removed and replaced. I've got it booked get all the service...

    Strong diesel fumes around car

I recently had my EGR pipe replaced as I thought it was this causing the problem. I still get strong fumes around the sides of the car. Additionally it does take a while for the engine to warm having to really rev it on a longish journey to bring the temperature up, if I put the heaters on the...

Aftermarket Stereo - Steering wheel control question

I'm looking to put a double din unit in the bottom tray. I have a Accord Diesel 2004. Guess I need the normal wiring loom. Do the steering wheels controls also just plug out of the OEM unit and into the aftermarket stereo? Will I need an additional adapter of sorts? Thanks,
