    Boot/Tailgate issues

My local mechanic thinks its the motors that are shot on the car as he says the motors will push the boot out and the struts will then take over to fully open it. As the tailgatge stays open by itself then i'm thinking that he is right!! If this is true then i cant afford to fix it and this...

    power curve

thanks for that, is this at the wheel readings? Judging by that graph changing just after 4500 revs seems most logical as that when the torque drops off and theres not much bhp to get out of it. Is that the normal shape of standard readings F6HAD?

    Car damage fire !

This is not true, on coming vehicle cases still can get settled knock for knock, 50/50 or each insurer agrees just to sort out their own insured. In cases where a car is on fire and damages another then knock for knock doesn't come into it as the 2nd car can not be seen as jointly at fault for...

    Boot/Tailgate issues

Did you get any luck Sit? I've called Honda and they are saying it is 100,000 miles but also it had to be 7 years old max. This takes me out of it. Has anyone who has a car older than 7 years got Honda to do this for them?

    Boot/Tailgate issues

Ive read about others problems with their tourer boots and im fearing mine might be starting. The car is an 03 plate tourer with 70k on the clock. Will this qualify for the extended warrant I've read about that Honda offer? My problem is that sometimes when i open the boot it starts to open...

    dash lights

Simple question im sure but i dont know the answer, how do i get to the bulbs to put fresh ones in? My dipped beam dash bulb has gone and with the new mot rules i think this will be a fail. The side light one comes on and stays on when dipped beam is selected and then it changes to main beam...

Installing Ipod Xcarlink into a Executive Auto without Sat Nav

If you now look into the hole from where the gear stick is you will see the open white port that points downwards. I was expecting this port to be on the back of the unit pointing towards the bonnet but its on the bottom of the unit pointing toward the floor. Here is a picture to show how...

Installing Ipod Xcarlink into a Executive Auto without Sat Nav

I've made this guide as my car is different to the guides that are on here. I hope it helps others, as you will see its quite an easy process but i came into trouble when removing the big panel so I'm not going to say that its a simple process. You will need a philips screw driver, an...

    Xcarlink installation error

So what should i have done?? I tried pulling it downwards, sidewards, twisting it and all sorts. Even looking at the remains of my error i could not see which way it should have come out. The clips were in there good. Thankfully now its all back together the glue has it tight in place and...

    Xcarlink installation error

I installed my Xcarlink yesterday and ran into problems when taking the big panel off, the one beneath the air con controls. Actually I broke both clips that hold it close to the top? What did i do wrong? Looking at my damage i cant see any way that i could have taken it off without breaking it??
