All lights, dash to external, also the fan seams to loose power and dip slightly in speed as well when I come to a stop,but returns to full strength when I have stopped. The light situation also happens when the engine is not running.

A DAS 6 is a good weapon of choice, around £70-90, new backing plate and some 3m pads, yellow to cut, black to finish and some polish of your choice and you are good to go. If you are local to the Heathrow area I could go over a few bits in person with you if you want?

Black hole will just fill the swirl mars and mask them for a while, you need to use a polish to get rid of the swirl marks. I use these polishes to a good effect Gtechniq P1 / P2 Menzerna PF2500 / PF4000 Scholl S17 / S40

C4 by Gtechnic or CarPro Cquartz DLUX wont stain or fade CarPro Cquartz DLUX Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer both cost a bit, but do a great job!!

Simon it was a combination of the machine polishing, halogen lights, warm warehouse and please don't laugh, but the wifes hairdryer!!! I sprayed a bit on a microsuede cloth smeared it about and buffed with a polishing microfiber and that seemed to do the trick well. Beading shots
